I've had Fractal Terrains for a while and always found it to be hard to use. But I've set down with it the last couple days to try to really work it out and.. I'm disapointed. The planets it generates on its own come out stringy or something. There's a problem with the way their continents work, I think. And editing is clumsy, awkward and difficult. It's possible that all I need is a really good tutorial, but at the moment I'm leaning towards a replacement.
So, can anyone recommend something that generates maps for planets that's easier to work with and produces more Earth-like planets?
